He was thorough, walked me through each area of the home, and discussed the importance of certain issues. He also showed me example images of what items should/should not look like. Clear pictures were taking during our inspection, including the roof and attic (hard to reach areas). He then walked us through the home and showed us what he found. His report was complete and exactly as he described. My husband and I decided to use ISpy Inspectors in December 2025. We researched the company and found that there were overall good reviews. However, what we didnt know was that the company was recently sold, and Willie Wayne with ISpy Inspectors was very new to the inspection industry and he had recently been negligent in another inspection that caused another family a significant amount of money in repairs. In our home inspection, Willie missed very noticeable damage in our sunroom. There are watermarks (50+), 3 cracks that run the entire length of the sunroom, and two literal holes in the ceiling of the sun room. In the inspection, there isn’t a single detail regarding any of this. The only details in the entirety of the inspection report pertaining to the sun room include two windows that need a prop to stay open, and two windows that were unable to be inspected due to the sellers personal property. I contacted Willie to review this due to it being missed in the inspection. He came back to the house to check it out, and his response… “oh yes, that is definitely noticeable water damage. That wasn’t there before or I definitely would’ve noticed it.” Willie reports he was unable to inspect the upper deck due to snow being present (his main argument for missing it), which I agree with, however, inspecting the ceiling of the interior of our home has nothing to do with snowfall. Willie did not take any responsibility for missing the cracks, holes, or damage, despite addressing that he could clearly see that there was damage from water dripping straight from the holes. Additionally, after connecting with the other family, I learned that Willie said the exact same thing to them, stating that the damage wasn’t there at the time of the inspection. Other “minor” things that were missed in the inspection include the garage sink (which has a noticeable crack in the basin and has a steady leak from the faucet and pipes) and the screen door latch being fully broken. Willie has great customer service and is prompt to work with, but he lacks with the components of the inspection that really matter (finding issues).Posted onTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If you want a thorough home inspection done, I Spy Inspectors are the people to call. Willy was prompt and very methodical in his approach to the home inspection covering every aspect both inside and outside. He took his time, pointing out areas of concern and explained the reason for those concerns. His detailed report included pictures for documentation. I have had home inspections done in the past by others, but have to say that this one was by far, more in depth and complete. Willy made sure that any and all questions were answered prior to leaving. And, just a couple of hours later the complete report was emailed to me. It was an overall great experience.
